Of course you need to first install your plug in like any regular Word Press plug in and then readjust it to activate the plug in. here gives me an easier way to add Banner Ads to my site without having to mess with the code or theme files. Lets try this one within the post and click add now Okay I have options to enter the banner URL, upload from your URL or upload from my computer. I will go with this option and then I need to give it a name, let's say ad 1 and I can give it a link, let's say Google for now, it's within the post and I will click save. Now if I visit my site, I would see that the banner ad appears now within the post. Okay another one that is slightly different is a sidebar widget. Let's add one and let's call it ad sidebar, upload from my computer. There is one that I had prepared earlier and then I can add a link to whatever site I want and the zone is sidebar widget and then I will click save. This one will not appear automatically on my site. I need to take an extra step to let it show. I will do this by going to the widget area that is found under appearance, here, widgets. I find a Max Banner Ad sidebar widget, I will drag that and then I can control what I would like it to show and then click save. Now if I would refresh, here I ...

Part 1 of 2: How to use FireBug to edit CSS Styles in WordPress, Drupal, Joomla & websites TUTORIAL
PART 1 of 2 - I show you how you can use the awesome open-source project FireBug plug-in/extension to edit CSS Styles and customize the layout and theme of your website, whether in a CMS (Content Management System) like WordPress or Drupal, to HTML or any other web-language. A good point about using CSS is that once you master it, you can control just about anything on your website: font styles, website appearance, backgrounds, and more! When mastered correctly, you will be much closer to having cleaner markup, which means - if built correctly - your site can be compliant a much longer time with the ever-changing web-world and your site will perform much better than a site that is developed using 'junk standards' (like using tons of 'inline styles' - gross)! : ) HELPFUL LINKS BELOW TO ASSIST IN THIS PROJECT IF YOU ARE NEW: OPEN SOURCE FIREBUG DOWNLOAD: getfirebug.com OPEN SOURCE HTML EDITORS (choose your preferred program): kompozer.net - OR - bluefish.openoffice.nl OPEN SOURCE FTP PROGRAM: filezilla-project.org (download the 'client') WATCH PART 2 - www.youtube.com Please address any questions you may have on this video - thanks!

Wordpress Blog Tips - Tutorial for Custom Header, Using Picasa to Create Custom Header
davinciinternetmarketing.com Tutorial for Header How to create a wordpress blog custom header. Steps to Create a Wordpress Custom Header. Wordpress blog tips. The steps to create a custom wordpress blog header include the following. 1-If you don't have photos and graphics already then go to google, search for your topic, and click to choose images. To save an image you wish to use to your computer right click on it and choose Save As. I recommend saving the images to a folder on your desktop. 2-If you don't have the free Picasa photo and video editing software go ahead and download it. This will only take a moment. Picasa will automatically find every image that is saved anywhere on your computer and put it in the Picasa database. 3-In Picasa click on a photo or image you wish to use. It will appear in the lower left in the "tray." Click on the green button near the tray to save the image there. Go back and click on other images you would like to use in the header. 4-Click on collage. The images will appear. Resize them, drag them in a row along the bottom, and add any background color you wish with the collage tools. 5-Click Create Collage, and when the screen goes back to the main screen click on the collage so the editing tools come up. Add any text you wish to have in the heading and use the cut tool to cut out the bottom horizontal shape that will be roughly the shape and size of a header. Later you can cut it more precisely in wordpress. 6-Go to Wordpress to the ...
